This pattern can be shortened by eliminating Rows 45 - 68

Materials: #10 Crochet Cotton Thread
US #3 needles ( or smaller)

row 1-2: Knit Across (16 st)
row 3: k4, yo, k8, yo, k4 (18 st)
row 4: k5, p8, k5 (18 st)
row5: k5, yo, k8, yo, k5 (20 st)
row 6: k6, p8, k6 (22 st)
row 7: k6, yo, k8, yo, k6 (22 st)
row 8 k7, p8, k7 (22 st)
row 9: k7, k4tog (in BACK loops), k4tog (in FRONT loops), k7 (16 st)
row 10: k4, p2, k4, p2, k4 (16 st)
row 11: k7, p2, k7 (16 st)

Hi RaAnn,

Love this bookmark but have noticed there are 2 sets of rows 21 and 22.

This makes it confusing when you get to these 2 sets as well as down to the repeats in rows 27-68.

I messed up on row 15 and just decided to frog. This is really pretty though, so I'll try my own patience again later.

row 15: k4, yo, k2, k3tog (in BACK loops), yo twice around needle, k2tog, k2, yo, k4 (18 st)

That only uses 17 stitches and ends with 18, so I thought I messed up on row 14, but row 14 ends with 18 too.

This is the second bookmark pattern I've seen actually written down with a stitch miscount (row 55 on another pattern). It must be my lucky number

I still think it's a lovely pattern. Thank you for sharing
